Mail Setup, Apple Mail
First, open Mail and click the
Mail menu on the top of your screen. Select
Preferences from the drop down selection. This will bring up a new window.

On the window that appears, click the small
+ button that appears under
Accounts on the left.

When
General Information appears, fill in the following information:
- Account Type: POP3
- Account Description: You can name this whatever you want.
- Full Name: Enter your name as you would like it to appear to others you send e-mail to (e.g. John, John Smith, or Dr. John Smith).
- Email Address: Enter your full e-mail address, including the domain (e.g. johnsmith@example.com).
Click Continue to advance to the next step.

On the Incoming Server step, fill in the following information:
- Incoming Server: pop.fusemail.net
- User Name: Enter your full e-mail address, including the domain name (e.g. johnsmith@example.com).
- Password: Enter your password here. Remember to check your caps lock key so you do not type in CAPS by mistake.
Click Continue to advance to the next step.

On the Outgoing Server step, make sure to put a check next to Use Authentication or else you will not be able to send mail through your Mail account. Use the following information when that is complete:
- Outgoing Server: smtp.fusemail.net
- User Name: Enter your full e-mail address, including the domain name (e.g. johnsmith@example.com).
- Password: Enter your password here. Remember to check your caps lock key so you do not type in CAPS by mistake.
Click Continue to advance to the next step.

Review your account settings and click Continue followed by Done to complete this process.

Everything should now be complete. You should now be able to send and receive e-mail via your Mudbug address. To make sure everything was setup properly, close the Preferences window and click the Get Mail button.
Note: Many Internet service providers block outgoing mail to third party mail servers, such as ours, in an effort to prevent their customers from spamming. If you encounter problems sending outgoing mail, we recommend you use your internet service provider's outgoing mail server instead. Please contact them directly to ask for their outgoing (SMTP) mail server address.
